INSTALLATION
Surface mount cord cover plate mounting bracket and nylon disc to wall with two self tapping screws (supplied by others). Install cord cover plate over bracket and nylon disk. Secure cover plate in place
by screwing the set screw in the top of the bracket. Surface mount knob retainer and oval nylon disc on opposite wall with two self tapping screws (supplied by others). For masonry walls, installer shall provide fiber plugs or expansion shields. For dry walls or plaster walls, installer shall provide concealed backing or toggle bolts to comply with local building codes and to suit wall conditions.

OPERATION
Release the locking nut, grasp the vinyl cord knob and pull out a sufficient amount of clothes line to permit attaching the cord knob to the knob retainer. Tighten locking nut sufficiently to hold stretched line taught. The clothes line is retracted into the cover plate mechanism by first releasing the locking nut and then removing the cord knob from the knob retainer, thereby allowing the spring mechanism to automatically retract the clothes line
