GOE Drain and Waste Treatment, biocatalyst and odour eliminator. 'Putting biotechnology to work for mankind.'

What is G.O.E and why is it so good?

G.O.E. is a unique blend of naturally occurring enzymes, polysaccharides (natural sugars) electrolytes, combined with natural citrus extracts and coconut surfactants. This composition is at the forefront of modern biotechnology, an area in which Australia’s position is foremost.

G.O.E’s action is a very simple one. Immediately it is released into waste organic matter, it starts breaking down large chunks into a smaller more acceptable form (predigestion) thus allowing the natural bacteria in the system to reactivate and degrade it rapidly and completely. The result is odour free, cleaner waste with fewer complaints from Councils and your neighbours.

The Need for G.O.E

CITRUS RESOURCES, after successfully assisting in the removal of dangerous and toxic chemical cleaners in housekeeping, schools and contract cleaning fields, over the last few years has now focused its attention towards food production and preparation.

The reason is simple: harsh caustic cleaners, strong acid cleaners, toxic chlorine based sanitisers and oxygen or quat based sanitisers, attack and destroy the friendly bacteria that are needed to break down your waste matter. These products create stinking food waste odours because normal biodegradability cannot take place.

O.H.S Problems

It is time for the food industry to look closely at its work practices and chemical selection method for cleaning products. Technology is changing. New lower toxicity cleaning products are now available that enhance the biodegrading process and at the same time have a more acceptable pH to the human skin.

The technology exists to totally clean a food establishment and to sanitise all its food contact surfaces and floors without the need for dangerous hydrocarbon emulsifiers, caustics, acids or chemicals that permanently damage people, surfaces and the environment. CITRUS RESOURCES has this technology.

The Introduction of G.O.E

G.O.E. Waste Digester Biocatalyst and Odour Remover can be your company’s first step in improving a safer and healthier workplace whilst lowering B.O.D. (lower odours) in your waste stream.

The use of caustics and emulsifiers for dispersing of fat from your floors, and internal floor drains only creates greater problems and odours down the line in grease traps, grease skimmers and separators. When untreated or even half treated sewerage is allowed to by pass skimmers and oil/fat separators because of caustic or solvent emulsification, the waste system can start to clog up with serious consequences to the ground water. The ground water (which is important for others who may be using it) can become polluted with the long-term use of your processing plant.

Adding G.O.E. in by continuous feed system not only keeps your plumbing free of build up, it provides less opportunity for harmful bacteria to grow and odours to develop.

Applications for G.O.E

G.O.E reduces odours in organic waste and grease build-up in domestic, commercial and industrial waste matter. It has virtually hundreds of uses in the maintenance of homes, buildings, agriculture and food industry as well as mining, industrial and municipal waste treatment.

Domestic - Septic Systems

Problem: Septic tanks and biological toilets become odorous and ineffective because of too little use or the use of strong cleaning products in the home. Another cause is overloading for its storage capacity of even blocked leach drains.

Solution: Additions of G.O.E speed up the digestion of waste solids, allowing natural bacteria to solubilise and break it down. By breaking up the solids blocking the drain field a clearer and cleaner, odour free waste is allowed to pass into the ground water. By using G.O.E you are helping to prevent ground water pollution.

Septic Tanks: Discontinue use of all toxic chemicals in the home. Start using
CITRON, ZEST and ORANGE SQUIRT. Pump out system if full and smelly. Apply by tipping down toilets or floor waste traps. Add 5 LTRS of G.O.E to restart - then 200ML per week (1 cup).

Biocycle: For bio-cycle and enviro-cycle types of systems, discontinue use of all toxic chemicals in the home. Use Citrus Resources cleaning products. Add 1 cup (200ML) of G.O.E to system per week.

Problem: Waste pits and long drops. These are a very real source of ground water pollution as well as odours. There is usually too little moisture to allow biological action. Solution: Adding G.O.E with a large volume of water you help satisfy the moisture demand. Biological action will start to take effect immediately and odours will disappear. Use 50ML water (1 to 10). Add at least 1 LTR of this solution.

Hospitality/Hospitals

There are three or four major areas where G.O.E is effective:

Problem: Kitchen floor drains and grease traps can be a major source of odours.

Solution: Regular dosing with G.O.E prevents fats, oils and protein waste from building up. Drain blockages and odours will be a thing of the past. Grease Trap build-up and odours will be dramatically reduced. You will at least halve the number of pump outs required each year. Flush 10ML per day down each drain to total 200ML. To control build-up in grease trap ensure that 100 to 200ML is added to the trap daily.

Problem: Storage bins and compactor odours. Odours build-up in garbage bins can be quickly removed the natural way. Spray daily 50MLS to 500MLS water (1 to 100).

Problem: Food, blood and vomit on carpets is easily dealt with without leaving a stain or odours behind.

Solution: Spray applying G.O.E after scraping up gross matter then extraction rinsing with cold water will remove potential staining and all odours. Dilute 50ML to 500ML water (1 to 10).

Problem: Showers, Baths and Drains become built up with hair, soap and body fat buildup, slowing waste flow and causing odours and expensive plumbing overhauls. Solution: Weekly dosing dissolves organic buildup and stops drain odours, keeping lines flowing like new. Flush 10MLS per day down each drain.

School/Sporting Complexes

Problem: Toilet floor and urinal odours are increased on porous concrete floors tile grouting and urinal pipes - especially in hot weather.

Solution: Regular flushing or spraying of floors and urinals after cleaning will immediately remove odours from the pores of the concrete and the urinal pipe inlet. Uric buildup will start to degrade within the pipes. Spray urinal and tiles. Dilute G.O.E 50ML to 500ML water (1 to 10). Use at least 250MLS of this solution.

Agriculture - Piggeries, Milking Sheds, Feed Lots

Problem: Odour from high organic loading of animal waste.

Solution: Flush G.O.E diluted with water over the floor area after cleaning and hosing so that it finds its way into the waste ponds. Within days odours, B.O.D., suspended solid, nitrogen and phosphorus levels will have been lowered. Site testing and actual use conditions have proven this type of result. Apply by spraying the pen at 1 to 10 dilution.

Marine and Portable Toilets

Problem: One of the biggest problems facing this industry is that it has used strong chemicals that are toxic, to disinfect and mask the waste water effluent odours, rather than help it decompose naturally.

Solution: Small additions into the storage water will help degrade and deodorise the waste for acceptable disposal to sewer.

For portable toilets add 100ML to 200ML into the initial water charge - this will be enough to last over 2 weeks of heavy use. Do not add any other chemicals.

For marine toilets add 100ML per 100LTR of capacity to initial water charge - this will last 2 weeks. Do not use any other chemicals.

Marine Bilge Water

Problem: Odours and emulsions in oily bilge water, oil and grease on machinery and floors. Solution: Daily spray or wash down all surfaces with 50ML to 500ml water. Pump bilge water to shore. The bilge will be odour free, cleaner, fresher and lower in B.O.D.

Dog Kennels and Pounds

Problem: Odours in yards and kennels after wash down.

Solution: Wash with CITRAFRESH, CITRON or ORANGE SQUIRT and hose then flush with G.O.E as directed. Use 500MLS to 5LTRS water (1 to 10).

Municipal Waste, Industrial and Mining Waste Treatment Systems

Problem: Overloading of waste treatment plant due to high loading, rain loading or down the line “sticking” or aerobic and anaerobic treatment ponds and tanks. High protein dumping at peak periods causing odour buildup and high solids and B.O.D. Solution: Constant dosing G.O.E as directed will reduce B.O.D and suspended soils. Initially dose at 25,000/1 then reduce weekly in 10,000 increments until appropriate rate is achieved.

Food Processing, Meat Fish and Poultry

Problem: Odour, fats and oil buildup as well as protein create a big headache for the industry. Particularly in unseen areas like drains. If there is an odour, there is bacteria growth. It could be the strain you don’t want in your plant. B.O.D in waste streams, high solids as well as nitrogen compounds creates a major problem in primary pondage or waste tank storage.

Solution:*Automatic dosing during working or even cleaning times will result in the dramatic lowering of suspended solids, B.O.D and nitrogen compounds. G.O.E has even been known to reduce phosphate levels in waste matter. Given a few days you can expect a cleaner, clearer waste water stream with a low if not hard to detect odour. Initially dose high at 4000/1 for the first week, second week - 10,000/1, third week - 20,000/1. Reduce dosage rate until laboratory results to show optimum dosage rate.

*Waste treatment reports from fish processing establishment available for viewing. This includes the lowering of nitrogen and phosphates.
