Alcohol Sanitiser AS-60 is a ready-to-use, an excellent, no-rinse sanitiser for all cleaned surfaces. It evaporates quickly, has a strong antibacterial action and leaves no residues.

AS-60 Alcohol sanitiser is ideal for sanitising food contact areas, healthcare equipment, mattresses, phones, handrails, door handles, computer keyboards, even carpets.

In addition, it's an excellent hand sanitiser too.

How Does It Work? AS-60 has the ability to kill micro-organisms such as bacteria, fungi and many viruses by denaturing their proteins and dissolving their lipids (fatty materials). It is however not effective on bacterial spores. bbbb

This germ-killing power makes AS-60 an excellent sanitiser for food-processing surfaces, door handles, taps, door touch-plates, toilet seats and other human contact surfaces. For maximum effectiveness, the surfaces should first be cleaned with an Agar detergent to remove bulk soilage before AS-60 is applied.

For Use On...

AS-60 is ideal for sanitising food contact surfaces including benchtops, cutting boards, hotplates (when cold – not when hot), utensils, cutlery, range-hoods, and processing machines.

It will also remove “sticky tape” residues, cosmetic stains, fingerprints and smears from hard surfaces. It is also useful for cleaning glass windows and mirrors.

AS-60 is also a sanitiser for the hands. It is especially important to practise good hand hygiene –
- After using the toilet
- Before eating or drinking
- Before and after handling raw fish, poultry and eggs
- After using public facilities, such as phones, public transport, ATM’s, lifts or escalators.
- In schools and child-care centres
- After changing nappies
- When you or others are sick
- After shaking hands
- After sneezing or coughing.

AS-60 is for external use only.

Active Ingredient
Ethyl alcohol 73% v/v (60% m/v)
This means that 100mls of Alcohol Sanitiser AS-60 contains 73mls of ethyl alcohol (the balance is made up of water) and its concentration is designated as 73% volume/volume (v/v).

Because 73mls of ethyl alcohol weighs 60 grams, an
alternative way of expressing this concentration is to say that 100mls contains 60 grams of ethyl alcohol, so its ethanol content is 60% mass/volume (m/v).
The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends an
ethyl alcohol (ethanol) concentration of 70-90% (v/v) for disinfection.
AS-60 contains 73% ethanol (v/v), a level that Agar has
selected to provide optimum performance.
Properties COLOUR – Transparent colourless liquid
ODOUR – Strong alcohol solvent odour.
pH = 6.5 – 7.5

requirements. It is based on non-toxic ingredients
selected to perform efficiently so there is no waste
or damage. AS-60 is biodegradable and phosphate-free. It is 60% Volatile Organic Compound.
