Caution
- COSMEX should not be used on tar-backed tiles because the tar-backing material may be carried onto the carpet fibres.
- As COSMEX is a solvent, it will attack soft plastics and some hard plastics and it should not be used on vinyl or leather surfaces.
- As COSMEX is relatively slow to evaporate, please allow time for the treated area to dry completely before exposing to traffic.
Environmental Care
COSMEX conforms with all statutory environmental requirements. It is based on safe ingredients selected to perform efficiently so there is no waste or damage. COSMEX is not flammable and readily biodegradable. COSMEX containers will be cleaned and reused if returned to Agar Cleaning Systems Pty Ltd., significantly reducing plastic usage and waste. They can also be recycled.
Application
- Absorb liquid spillages and scrape up or vacuum solid soilage before applying spotter.
- Pretest COSMEX on an inconspicuous area to ensure that colours will not run and plastics will not soften.
- Apply neat COSMEX from a cloth directly onto the remaining stain or spot. Gently work the COSMEX into the stain working from the outside towards the centre. Blot the stain with a clean white cloth or paper towel. Results are always best when spillages are cleaned promptly.
- Scrub the area with water and detergent or CARPET SHAMPOO to ensure that all of the COSMEX has been removed.
