It exhibits excellent build and sanding properties, with excellent adhesion to bare metal and good holdout under enamels and acrylic lacquers.
Primer Surfacer may be applied to bare steel for small areas, but an initial coat of Septone Etch primer is recommended. For other metals such as aluminium, zinc anneal, zincalume, galvanised iron or stainless steel, an initial coat of Etch Primer is essential. Suitable substrates to which Primer Surfacer may be applied include OEM paints, fibreglass, body fillers, bare steel (as above) and Etch Primer.
